ABOUT CHRIST RIDGE
CHRIST RIDGE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Christ Ridge is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), committed to historic Christian faith and simple, reverent worship. Each Lord's Day, we gather to meet with the living God—to hear His Word read and preached, to pray together, to sing His praise with joy, and to receive the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
You will find at Christ Ridge a church family that loves the Bible, treasures the gospel, and seeks to grow together in faith and holiness.
OUR LEADERSHIP
PASTORS
REV. BEN THOMAS
A native of Sumter, SC, Ben joined the Christ Ridge family in 2026. A graduate of RTS Charlotte, he was ordained at Midway Presbyterian Church in Powder Springs, GA, and later served as a missionary in Sweden and in England. Ben and his family returned to the Charlotte area in 2021, serving at Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church before he was called to serve Christ Ridge. He and his wife, Heidi, have four children: Jack, Elliot, Kate, and Josie.
When he is away from the study, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, playing with his children, and dreaming about being good at golf. Most importantly, Ben is a sinner saved by grace, whose primary passion is to shepherd the flock of God by proclaiming the whole counsel of God’s Word.
Senior Pastor
REV. NATHAN ECARMA
Coming from Chattanooga, Nathan moved to the Carolinas for seminary but stayed when he was called by Christ Ridge in 2024. Having been raised in Greenville, this was a natural transition. He worked in sales prior to graduating from RTS Charlotte. He is married to Emily, and they are expecting their first child.
In his ministry, Nathan comes alive in the moments of connection with others whether in conversation or counseling, in the hours of study behind the sacred desk, and in the half hour of preaching the riches of Christ. Outside of ministry, Nathan watches tennis when he can’t play it and rock climbs if tennis isn’t on, and above all, he spends his days enjoying life with his wife.
