About Rev. Michael Dixon: The Rev. Michael Dixon is the third pastor in the history of Christ Ridge Presbyterian Church. Michael and his wife Nikki have been married for more than eleven years. They have two young children, Lewellyn (7) and Boston (5). They met after Nikki had graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC and while she was a member of Christ Ridge Presbyterian. Little did they know that almost 4 years later Michael would be called to be the pastor of her home church. Michael grew up in Charlotte, NC as a covenant child of Christ Covenant Church PCA. He attended Covenant College from 1997-2001 and earned a BA in History. He moved back to Charlotte and attended Reformed Theological Seminary, earning a Masters of Divinity from the school in 2005. He began working in youth ministry in the PCA in Atlanta in 1999 in various churches and positions. Michael was ordained as a PCA pastor in November of 2007 and was called to Christ Ridge as their pastor in March of 2008. He has a great passion to see people walk with Christ, and to see the church continue to be healthy through the teaching of the Word, prayer, and worship.

John 17:1-5

17:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. (ESV)
